Two Years with Arrow

Happiest of birthdays to my sweet Arrow. I could look into your adorable little face for hours with your dazzling smile and your sparkly eyes – you charm and delight people (just like your Daddeeee (as you call him)) and brighten the day!

I love that you will sit on my lap and just hug me back! And that you spin around to look right into people’s eyes when you communicate in your baby talk which is also heartbreakingly cute. You are obsessed with saying “A, B, C?” which could mean a whole host of things, to count down “19, 18” and stop there for some reason, but your favorite thing to say, by far, is “TyGa” for your brother, which usually sounds more like Gaga.

It’s apparent that not only do you absolutely love Tiger, you have officially won him over as well (not an easy task) and it just melts my heart to watch you two (finally!) look out for each other and play happily! We still haven’t cut your hair (it’s just too cute, even though everyone thinks you’re a girl) and you still really love your pacifier.

You started preschool a couple weeks ago and assimilated right in with your independent and adventurous spirt and the comfort of your brother to lean on when you want it. We’re bringing your little sister into the world in about a month and it makes me so sad to know that suddenly, when she’s born, you won’t be my baby anymore, but nothing could ever replace the very special place you hold in my heart.

I am so proud of you and thrilled to watch you grow and thrive.
